Bright Steps is an animation studio in Pakistan run by Shawaiz Nisar and Noor Ul Ain. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit brightstep.fun or contact us about our educational animations.

You can watch the previews without an account. Our enquiry builder prepares a message for WhatsApp or email; it does not automatically send your message or save it to a website database.

Information we handle

There is no website account system, online checkout or payment-card collection on this site.

How enquiry drafts work

Text entered in the enquiry builder is processed in your browser. Our website code does not send the form fields to a Bright Steps server, put the draft into cookies or save it in local or session storage.

When you choose WhatsApp, your draft is included in a link passed to WhatsApp. When you open Gmail or an email app, the draft is passed to that service. The Copy enquiry option copies the draft to your device’s clipboard at your request; if copying is unavailable, you can select and copy the text manually. These services may process the draft when opened, even before you press Send. Bright Steps receives the message only when you send it to us.

Your browser or device may offer its own autofill, history or draft-saving features. Please use a trusted device and avoid putting sensitive information into an enquiry.

Why we use information

We use the information you send to answer your questions, discuss a possible collaboration, prepare a quotation, carry out an agreed project and manage related records. Technical information helps our provider deliver the website, troubleshoot faults and prevent abuse.

Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list. We do not use website enquiries for advertising profiles or sell your personal information.

Children’s privacy

Our videos are intended to be explored with a parent, caregiver, teacher or other supporting adult. The enquiry route is for adults discussing projects; we do not ask children to create accounts or submit information.

Please do not send children’s names, photographs, recordings, diagnoses, medical records or case notes through the website enquiry route. Describe the learning topic and audience in general terms instead.

If you believe a child’s private information has been sent to us by mistake, contact brightstepinc@gmail.com so we can review and remove it where appropriate. Any future project involving identifiable or sensitive information needs a separate agreement on permission, handling and responsibilities before that information is shared.

Cookies, storage and hosting

Our website code sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers or visitor analytics scripts. Fonts, images and video previews are hosted as website files rather than embedded social-media players. The enquiry builder does not use browser storage.

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Depending on the security features applied to a request, Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies or process technical request information. Those are separate from advertising tracking. You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary security features may affect access.

Providers and sharing

We use Cloudflare for website delivery, Gmail for our public email address and WhatsApp when you choose that contact channel. Providers process information needed to operate their services under their own policies. Your own email provider may also process messages you send.

We do not publish your enquiry or share identifiable project information with another organisation for its marketing. If a collaboration needs information to be shared with an additional participant, we will agree that with you first. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by an applicable legal obligation.

Where information is processed

Bright Steps operates in Pakistan. Our hosting and communication providers operate internationally, so technical information and correspondence may be processed or stored outside Pakistan or the country where you are browsing. Their locations, safeguards and retention practices are described in their policies.

Retention and security

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to respond to the enquiry, manage an ongoing discussion or project, and meet any applicable recordkeeping obligation. Retention depends on whether the enquiry becomes a project and whether a record is still needed; we do not promise a single deletion date for every message.

We limit our use of enquiry information to the purposes described here. The website uses HTTPS, but no website, device or communication service can guarantee absolute security. Provider logs, backups and copies in your own accounts follow those providers’ retention practices.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can browse without contacting us and choose what information to include in a message. Email brightstepinc@gmail.com to ask about information you have sent, request access or a correction, request deletion, or ask us to stop optional follow-up.

We may need enough information to confirm that a request relates to your correspondence. We will explain any record that must be retained for an agreed project or an applicable obligation. Available legal rights can depend on your location and the rules that apply to the processing.

Changes and contact

We will update this page and its date when our practices change. Any new collection or use, such as a checkout, mailing list or analytics service, will need an updated explanation and any choices required before it is introduced.
